John Mann has been an engaging and positive force for many years, gracing the singer-songwriter scene with bulletproof songcraft, thoughtful lyrics and a voice as warm and inviting as anyone’s.  He maintains his individuality while clearly revealing his core influences of The Band, Van Morrison and John Prine.   Mann has released three albums and an EP that have all been well received throughout the region, and his upcoming release, “Out of the Rubble,” is a welcome addition to that catalog.  He plays with a band of incredible musicians from the Louisville area, and he will be joined by Philip Wakeman (Mandolin, Vocals) and Ian Thomas (Dobro, Lap Steel, Banjo) at the Big Four Arts Festival.
